Personal Statement

I am a PhD student at the School of Informatics, The University of Edinburgh. My research focuses on multimodal misinformation detection, with an emphasis on integrating visual and textual signals to develop more robust and interpretable detection methods. Prior to my PhD, I worked on interpretable zero-shot learning using concept bottleneck models. More broadly, my interests lie in explainable AI and multimodal representation learning, particularly in their application to combating misinformation.
